Nominations for Manufacturer of the Year and Display Product of the Year
We are pleased to announce that Absen has been nominated for Manufacturer of the Year and Display Technology of the Year at this year’s prestigious AV Awards, taking place at Battersea Evolution, London on 11th October 2019.
Now in its 21st year, the AV Awards were established to recognise excellence across the global Audio Visual industry, and with over 700 entries across 4 categories (Technology, Projects, Company and People), we are extremely proud to have made the final cut in two of the most hotly contested categories.
As a manufacturer, Absen has been the top Chinese exporter of LED displays for 10 consecutive years, which we believe is due to the quality of our products and our focus on local support. However, it is our commitment to developing global industry standards and passing these on through our ACE training programme, that we believe sets us apart. We are also incredibly proud of our role in promoting Diversity & Inclusion in the AV industry, which includes achieving a near 50/50 gender split in senior management positions.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted for two awards” says Alex Couzins, Absen’s European head of marketing. “The awards entry gave us an opportunity to share some of the more interesting and unique parts of our business, which I am sure many of the judges will not have been aware of, so to have made the top 10 in our category is already a great achievement and a testament to the team that the hard work is paying off!”
Absen has also been shortlisted for Display Product of the Year for its AX1.5, part of the new Aries series, which has been engineered from the ground up to meet the growing demand for a 1.5mm fine pitch LED in the rental market. The AX1.5 is the first MiniLED rental product in the LED industry to realise mass production and delivery, selling more than any other manufacturer in the narrow pixel pitch (NPP) rental segment.
Packed full of technological innovation, Absen’s Aries AX1.5 is aimed at professional rental companies for high-end corporate events, conferences, auto shows, e-gaming competitions and broadcast applications, and is the first such product to combine a 4-in-1 integrated pixel design and Common Cathode technology.
We would like to use this opportunity to thank our partners, distributors, and of course, end customers for their continued support and trust in Absen.
